I recently retired as Assistant Chief of the City of Milford (CT) Fire Dept. I have been with the department for the past 33 years. Prior to joining The Milford Fire Department, I served in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. I am a United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain holding a Master of 100 Ton License with a Commercial Towing Endorsement. I am a State Certified: Fire Marshal, Fire Investigator EMT, Haz-Mat Technician, Fire Service Instructor 1, Fire Officer 1, Incident Safety Officer, Pump Operator and NASBLA certified boat operator. Experience: 1996 to September 2019: Coxswain on Milford Fire Departments Marine 1 a 30’ fire boat. I have been The Officer in Charge of the Milford Fire Department Marine Unit since 2008. 2007 to present: Boat Operator Milford Fire Marine 2 a 19’rigid hull inflatable. 2008 to 2014: Delivery Captain on a 85’ Horizon Yacht where I transported 14 times From Westbrook CT to the East and West Coast of Florida and the Caribbean. 2008 to present: Delivery captain on numerous boats from 35’ to 105’ on the East Coast from Nantucket to Florida and the Caribbean. 2019 to present: Boat operator and delivery Captain for Connecticut Diesel and Marine in Milford Ct.
