About Captain Darrel

I started off at a Marina when I was 18 delivering boats up to 65 feet to customers houses and bringing them for services. I worked as a Mercury Test pilot, testing high-performance boats up to 85 miles an hour. After the job ended I discovered yachting, I was a mate/ engineer, on yachts from 75 feet to 130 feet, navigational watches underway, docking, mechanical, customer service, etc. I traveled around the world. I’ve also have tow boat Experience, as a Captain in Miami and have been managing A handful of boats myself up to 35 feet, while doing freelance for testing for Honda marine and being a temp mate/engineer on yachts. I currently work for Space X in my time off I do this on the side.
